Some young guy who’s apparently reasonably well-known to the car scene was, it would seem, trying to show off to a couple of his lady friends in his ZR1 by driving at speeds beyond those that are in any way sane on a public road, on a suspended license. When the cops saw him, he decided the best thing he could do was run. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , and luckily nobody else was injured. From the sound of the comments from people who knew him/knew of him, he absolutely got what he deserved. Glad nobody was hurt.

Sad to see a beautiful and rare car wasted on such stupidity.

132MPH at 132nd Street
Well, he’s an idiot, but certainly a well-timed one.

Glad everybody’s ok even if he was a complete moron. More importantly, though, do you think that engine will be on copart?

A moment of silence for the ZR1.

Poor ZR1.
I guess idiot was at least smart enough for a seat belt if he survived that.

If the Ford hadn’t been pulling a trailer, that would’ve been a lot uglier.

Mommy and daddy are going to be pissed. Then they’ll help him get another car.

I didn’t even think of that and I drive through that intersection every day.
Same building in the background of both pics:

Many FB comments were made to that effect.

That photo ladies & gentlemen is an example of someone not in the oppositelock membership.
They were masquerading as a oppo member,
but when you get exposed be prepared for the consequences.
